Meme lore
What is the Three Spider-Men Pointing meme?
This classic reaction template shows three versions of Spider-Man simultaneously pointing at each other. Add one label above each character to compare people, products, teams, or situations that are effectively the same or are all blaming one another.
Origin & history
The scene is based on the famous pointing sequence from the 1967 Spider-Man cartoon, in which costumed Spider-Man figures point at one another. Online meme users repurposed the still as a visual shorthand for hypocrisy, mutual accusation, mistaken identity, and situations where no option is meaningfully different from another. Specific details about the first viral repost are unclear.
