This policy explains what MagicMeme collects and how we use it. The service is magicmeme.com.
What we collect
- Images you use. Template images and any image you upload to caption or make a GIF from. We use them to render your output.
- Removal requests. The name, email, links, and reason you send through the removal form.
- Usage. Privacy-friendly web analytics (page views and outbound links) via a first-party analytics script. We do not sell a personal data profile to advertisers.
How we use it
To operate the product: render memes and GIFs, handle removal requests, prevent abuse, and understand usage in aggregate.
Processors
We use vendors to run MagicMeme. Typical categories: hosting and object storage (Cloudflare R2) and email delivery (Resend) for removal requests. Those vendors process data only to run the service.
Cookies
We store a local theme preference in your browser. We do not set account cookies, and we do not run a third-party ad pixel on these pages.
Retention
Removal request details are kept only as long as needed to handle the request. Analytics are aggregated.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your personal data, or object to certain processing. Email hello@magicmeme.com.
Children
MagicMeme is not directed at children under 16.
International
We may process data in the United States and other countries where our vendors operate. If you use the service from elsewhere, you understand that transfer.
