Meme lore
What is the Red Queen Pointing meme?
Red Queen Pointing is a single-image reaction template showing Iracebeth of Crims glaring, yelling, and aiming her scepter toward the viewer. The close, confrontational pose turns a short setup and command into an over-the-top royal decree, rejection, or claim of authority.
Origin & history
This image is a film still of Helena Bonham Carter as Iracebeth of Crims, the Red Queen in Tim Burton’s 2010 Alice in Wonderland. The film’s character combines elements of Lewis Carroll’s Red Queen and Queen of Hearts, which explains the recurring head-removal and royal-decree jokes.
