Meme lore
What is the Peter Parker's Glasses meme?
Peter Parker's Glasses is a two-row exploitable from Spider-Man (2002). Left: Tobey Maguire's Peter holds his glasses, then puts them on. Right: two blank panels. The bottom image is the sharper, truer, or more absurd version of the top. In the film the glasses make his new super-vision blurrier; memes reverse that so glasses-on is the reveal.
Origin & history
