Office Space was written and directed by Mike Judge and released in 1999, satirizing cubicle culture at a software company called Initech. Gary Cole played Bill Lumbergh as a monotone manager who drags out syllables ("Yeahhh") and layers small favors that feel like orders, especially his request to "go ahead and come in" on Saturday or Sunday.
