Meme lore
What is the Here It Comes Tornado Selfie meme?
This reaction template pairs an intense, open-mouthed scream with a tornado looming in the background. It is used to represent seeing an unavoidable problem approach, anticipating chaos, or documenting a disaster instead of preventing it.
Origin & history
The template appears to be a digitally circulated disaster-reaction image showing a man foregrounded against a large dust devil or tornado. Its broader meme use comes from the visual contrast between the man's exaggerated panic and the obvious danger approaching behind him; specific source and timeline details are uncertain.
