Meme lore
What is the Oh No Anyway meme?
The Oh No Anyway template uses a two-step reaction: a short, exaggerated expression of concern followed by an abrupt return to business as usual. Add a bad-news setup or topic above the image, while the baked-in panel text delivers the punchline.
Origin & history
The image is a vertically stacked reaction still of Jeremy Clarkson in a studio or audience setting. The upper frame presents brief concern and the lower frame presents dismissal, with the original captions “OH NO!” and “ANYWAY” already burned into the image. The precise episode and first meme circulation are unclear.
