Meme lore
What is the Don't Make Me Tap The Sign meme?
A two-panel Simpsons reaction template featuring Otto the bus driver and a blank sign. Add an obvious rule, recurring complaint, or truth to the sign to imply that someone is forcing you to repeat it.
Origin & history
The template uses a scene of Otto Mann driving a school bus, paired with the warning “DON'T MAKE ME TAP THE SIGN.” Its lower panel leaves a large sign blank so users can insert a rule, reminder, or blunt statement that should already be understood.
