Meme lore
What is the Oriental Lounge Gentlemen vs. Ladies Ratio meme?
Oriental Lounge Gentlemen vs. Ladies Ratio is a night photo of the chain’s Ebisu totem: a purple-to-pink LED wall reading 122 GENTLEMEN and 119 LADIES in real time. Oriental Lounge is a Japanese aiseki (matching) lounge — women free, men pay by the 10 minutes — and posts live headcounts so the floor stays even. Used for “my city vs Tokyo,” Discord ratios, and any room that is almost 50/50.
Origin & history
