Meme lore
What is the Put It Somewhere Else Patrick meme?
Put It Somewhere Else Patrick is a two-panel SpongeBob reaction template featuring Patrick Star physically moving through a crowd and pushing toward other characters. It is commonly used for the snowclone “We should take X and put it Y,” especially when mocking simplistic solutions, deflecting responsibility, or relocating a problem instead of solving it.
Origin & history
The image is a cropped two-panel sequence from SpongeBob SquarePants showing Patrick pushing through a group of characters. Online meme versions commonly add a single caption describing a problem, object, or responsibility that should be moved to another place or person.
