Meme lore
What is the Grumpy Cat No meme?
Grumpy Cat No is an Advice Animal-style image macro of Tardar Sauce, the snowshoe-mix cat whose dwarfism and underbite made a permanent scowl. There is no baked “NO” on this blank: top text names the request or trend, bottom text is the deadpan refusal.
Origin & history
This blank is the classic paws-on-surface photograph of Tardar Sauce (born April 4, 2012, Morristown, Arizona), not the later VidCon appearances. Reddit fame started with Bryan Bundesen’s September 2012 r/pics posts. No caption is baked into the PNG.
