Meme lore
What is the Dave Chappelle Crack meme?
The Dave Chappelle Crack meme (also known as Tyrone Biggums or "Y'all Got Any More of Them") features Dave Chappelle as the crack-addicted character Tyrone Biggums from Chappelle's Show. The image macro format expresses an intense, desperate craving for anything - from actual substances to video games, upvotes, or coffee.
Origin & history
Tyrone Biggums first appeared in episode 2 of Chappelle's Show, which aired on January 29, 2003 on Comedy Central. Played by Dave Chappelle in dark makeup with chapped white lips, the character is a homeless crack addict whose sketches satirized addiction stereotypes while delivering absurd comedy. The most famous line - "Y'all got any more of them [X]?" - comes from sketches where Biggums desperately seeks his next fix.
Image macros featuring Biggums began circulating on Meme Generator and Reddit's r/AdviceAnimals around 2010. The blank in the catchphrase could be filled with anything: pixels, upvotes, coffee, or video game content. The meme works by comparing someone's obsessive behavior to addiction, and it remains one of the most recognizable formats from early 2010s internet culture.
