Meme lore
What is the Bob MacIntyre Gives Augusta The Bird meme?
A sports-reaction image built around the contrast between the golfer’s serious expression and the caddie’s cheeky middle-finger gesture. The top caption can establish the situation, while the bottom caption delivers the blunt reaction or punchline.
Origin & history
This appears to be a still or crop from televised golf coverage at Augusta National, featuring Bob MacIntyre in the foreground and his caddie behind him making a middle-finger gesture. It later functioned online as a reaction template because the gesture is visually clear while the golfer maintains a stern, composed expression. Specific broadcast date and original uploader are unclear from the image alone.
