Meme lore
What is the Aliens Holding Hands meme?
A sentimental surreal image of two aliens holding hands and looking at each other. Add contrasting captions above and below the scene to turn the earnest pose into jokes about unlikely couples, intense friendship, shared obsessions, or awkward emotional moments.
Origin & history
This appears to be a digitally illustrated science-fiction scene showing two gray, humanoid aliens in a field at sunset. The exact source and earliest online spread are unclear, so it is best cataloged by its recognizable visual concept rather than attributed to a specific creator or event.
