Meme lore
What is the Megamind Peeking meme?
Megamind Peeking is a fisheye close-up of Megamind staring into the camera like a doorbell cam, used for setups about checking or hoping for something and punchlines that ask “No [thing]?” with pathetic disappointment.
Origin & history
A distorted close-up of Megamind peeking toward the viewer became a reusable format for expectation-vs-absence jokes: the face sells needy disappointment while the caption names what is missing.
