Meme lore
What is the It’s True, All Of It — Han Solo meme?
This three-panel format uses Han Solo’s serious expression to confirm an outrageous claim. The top panel introduces the claim, the middle panel shows stunned listeners, and the bottom panel delivers the short confirmation or punchline.
Origin & history
The images are movie stills from Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015). The scene features Han Solo at the top and bottom, with Rey and Finn between those shots. Online meme makers adapted the exchange into a general-purpose format for validating implausible statements, rumors, conspiracies, and unexpectedly accurate predictions; the precise origin of the captioned meme format is unclear.
