Meme lore
What is the Dr. Evil Pinky meme?
This single-image template features Dr. Evil in his signature pinky-to-mouth pose from the Austin Powers films. Add a setup or scheme at the top and an exaggerated demand, punchline, or villainous conclusion at the bottom.
Origin & history
Dr. Evil was played by Mike Myers in the Austin Powers comedy films beginning with Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997). His raised-pinky pose became a recognizable visual shorthand for theatrical villainy, grandiose demands, and overcomplicated plans. This particular still's exact production frame is unclear, but it is widely used as a caption template.
