Meme lore
What is the Arrogant Rich Man On The Phone meme?
This stock-photo-style reaction template shows a polished, confident businessman smiling during a phone call. Captions commonly frame him as smug, wealthy, privileged, or casually disconnected from ordinary problems.
Origin & history
The source appears to be a commercial or stock-style portrait of a smiling businessman speaking on a mobile phone. It circulated as a reusable image macro rather than as a clearly attributable named character, and the exact point at which it became associated with arrogant-rich-man jokes is unclear.
