Meme lore
What is the American Flag With 420 Stars And 69 Stripes meme?
This novelty flag template exaggerates the traditional American flag design with unusually dense stars and many narrow stripes. Add contrasting top and bottom captions for patriotic jokes, national absurdity, stoner humor, number jokes, or exaggerated claims about the United States.
Origin & history
This appears to be an internet novelty remix of the United States flag rather than a standard historical flag design. The dense star field and unusually numerous stripes are the central visual joke; the visible indicates an association with that meme-image publishing site, but the original source and first upload are uncertain.
