Meme lore
What is the Bill Clinton In A Hot Tub meme?
A grainy hot-tub photograph featuring a recognizable older man on the left and a blacked-out figure on the right. The image is used as a reaction template for jokes about secrecy, scandal, suspicious company, or casually denying an obviously awkward situation.
Origin & history
This appears to be an older candid hot-tub photograph that was later repurposed as an internet meme. Online captions commonly frame the scene as evidence, a suspicious encounter, or a person trying to remain calm while surrounded by controversy. Specific provenance and the identity of the censored figure are uncertain.
