Meme lore
What is the Torn Shirt Beneath the Blazer (Expectations vs. Reality) meme?
Torn Shirt Beneath the Blazer is a two-panel street still of a bald man in glasses and a clerical tab collar against a stone wall. Left, a brown-and-navy check blazer makes the blue shirt look complete. Right, the jacket is over his arm and the shirt’s back is cut away, showing skin and patterned briefs. Used for “how I arrived versus how I left,” fake-it-till-you-make-it drip, and anything that only works from the front.
Origin & history
