Meme lore
What is the The Floor Is Lava meme?
This template shows people dramatically keeping their feet off a hallway floor by bracing or jumping against the walls. Add a short caption naming the person, problem, obligation, or situation being treated as untouchable.
Origin & history
The template appears to come from a staged or captured hallway scene showing people performing exaggerated wall jumps. It spread as a reaction and image-macro format because the pose clearly communicates extreme avoidance. Its exact original creator and first online publication are unclear.
