Meme lore
What is the Shut Up And Take My Money meme?
Shut Up And Take My Money is a Futurama still of Philip J. Fry in his red jacket, mouth open, shoving a wad of green bills at the viewer. It is the internet’s default “I will buy this immediately, flaws be damned” reaction — not a generic angry Fry.
Origin & history
Still: Futurama S6E3 “Attack of the Killer App,” 2010-07-01 (Fry / Billy West; writer Patric Verrone). First captioned macro: Crackajack, 2010-07-02. Meme: Reddit ~2011 (Know Your Meme: Shut Up And Take My Money!). This PNG is a 500×281 blank of the cash-thrust frame, no baked line.
