Meme lore
What is the Dr. Evil And Frau Farbissina meme?
This two-panel format pairs a composed, often absurd request from Dr. Evil with Frau Farbissina’s furious or panicked response. Add a setup or understated demand above and an exaggerated reaction below.
Origin & history
The images are film stills from the Austin Powers comedy franchise. The upper still depicts Dr. Evil on a red telephone while holding a hairless cat, and the lower still depicts Frau Farbissina delivering an emphatic scream. Online meme usage repurposes the contrast as a two-step setup-and-reaction joke; the specific original compilation source is unclear.
