Meme lore
What is the Jesse Pinkman Pointing And Laughing meme?
A reaction image of Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad leaning forward with a manic grin and pointing as he laughs. It works for celebrating a clever discovery, mocking an obvious mistake, or reacting to something absurdly self-satisfied. The image is sometimes associated with the caption “Yeah, science, bitch!” but that phrase is not baked into this version.
Origin & history
This still depicts Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, wearing a striped beanie with bandaged forearms and pointing while laughing. It became useful as a reaction template because the expression combines amusement, excitement, and mocking disbelief. The specific episode context and earliest online meme spread are unclear.
