Meme lore
What is the Fat Luka vs. Lean Luka meme?
Fat Luka vs. Lean Luka is a two-panel of Luka Dončić in the Lakers’ gold #77. Left is the heavier look with a white compression shirt under the jersey; right is the leaner cut with no undershirt. Used for then vs now, Nico’s excuse vs the work, and any glow-up that kept the same number.
Origin & history
Luka Dončić, Los Angeles Lakers #77. Left: heavier, white undershirt (early Lakers, post–Feb 2025 trade). Right: leaner, no undershirt. Exact game stills unclear. Composite circulated as a then-vs-now after the trade.
