Meme lore
What is the Alysa Liu Ice Rink Fisheye Stare meme?
A single-image reaction template showing Alysa Liu looking directly upward into a close camera after skating. The distorted perspective and intense expression work well for captions about staring someone down, overconfidence, unexpected victories, or being watched under pressure.
Origin & history
This template is based on a wide-angle photograph taken on an ice rink, with Alysa Liu in a decorated skating costume and medals while looking toward the camera. Its meme appeal comes from the unusually close perspective, enlarged eyes, and unwavering expression. Specific source and first viral use are unclear.
