The footage comes from the women's 20km race walk at the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome. Laura García-Caro of Spain draped a flag over her shoulders and started celebrating before crossing the line, believing she had secured bronze. Ukrainian athlete Lyudmila Olyanovska surged past her in the final meters to take the medal instead.
