Origin & history
The subject is Minazo, a southern elephant seal who lived at Enoshima Aquarium in Japan. His bucket-holding pose was photographed there; later captions transformed the two photos into the “I Has A Bucket” and “Noooo they be stealin’ my Bucket” diptych.
